I'd like to see it, just for shits and giggles. The system is already setup so you can roll any required merc hero in seconds, so why not have sin models as monks etc.

To be frank, I always thought limiting the models and armor art to individual professions was just a means to a massive shortcut on the art design. For instance, by making a single monk model which is scaleable only in size, they only have to design specific armor art to fit that model. It's an entirely reasonable decision, given how much extra work it would take to make all armors work on all models. I wouldn't care if heroes armor didn't clip correctly etc when they were a different primary from their original, but I'm in the minority, I know.

I don't use mercs.....
But won't this just give mercs ANOTHER in-game advantage...? mind you anet would get a revenue boost (good for all).

I'd rather just see Assasin hero get an AI improvement and Rangers getting a skill review.

Other option: Paid Primary proffesion changes, You just wouldn't get the assasin armour art for your mesmer, boo. Revenue for anet though good good.
